IH Engineers P.C. (IH) began operations as Integrated Engineering in 1999. Founded by our Principal, Iftekhar Hossain, PE., Integrated Engineering grew to a respectable size company, resulting in our incorporation as IH Engineers, P.C. in 2003.
The firm has steadily grown through continuous repeat business and the addition of new clients based on a solid reputation for providing quality service at a reasonable price. Starting as a small and determined operation in 1999 when we earned our first contract, we have grown into a well-respected firm with engineers, inspectors, and technicians based at our Princeton, NJ headquarters, our branch offices in Hackensack, NJ, and New York, NY, and project-specific offices in various locations. IH has worked on some of the largest transportation projects in the New York Metropolitan area, providing Design Engineering Services, Construction Support Services, and/or Inspection Services for rehabilitation/replacement/reconstruction of the Raising of the Bayonne Bridge, Reconstruction of Gowanus Expressway, Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing, Scudder Falls Bridge, Pulaski Skyway, NYSDOT Route 9A Promenade South, Raritan River Bridge, Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, NJDOT Deck Replacement of Harter Road, NJDOT Route 18 Bridge over Route 1, 25 Traffic Signals in the Middlesex County, Fishing Creek Road Resurfacing Improvements in Cape May among others. In addition, IH has developed an impressive resume working as a Prime Consultant in structural design, civil design, traffic engineering, intersection improvements, signal design, roadway work, ADA pedestrian ramps, concept development, preliminary/final design bridge engineering, bridge inspection, and construction management/inspection services for New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA), New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit), New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA), Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania Turnpike (Penn Turnpike), Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA), Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC), and several other state agencies and counties.
