  • Transportation Department Manager
    • Seeking a growth-oriented engineer to serve as our Highway (Civil) Department Manager. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth of the department, focusing on project execution and supporting other  Project Managers on a variety of transportation projects. This person will collaborate closely with clients and project teams, working throughout the project life cycle to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
    •  Qualifications:
      • 20+ years of experience in Highway Design.
      • B.S. Degree min. in Civil Engineering (a master’s may be substituted for 2 years of experience).
      • P.E. in N.J. (a NY State license is beneficial)
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentation skills, and problem-solving skills are also required.
      • This position is full-time.
    • Responsibilities:
      • The candidate shall possess strong engineering judgment, striving for quality and financial excellence.
      • A good knowledge of NJDOT and NJTA processes and procedures is required along with the desire to mentor and train design staff.  
      • Working closely with our regional and office leadership, advising on project approach, scope, cost, and schedule, identifying opportunities for innovative solutions and strategic teaming partnerships.
      • Attending meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues.

  • Assistant Team Leader/Structural Evaluation Department
    • Qualifications:
      • Minimum 3 years of experience in NBIS Bridge Inspection & Load Ratings projects with major agencies in the tri-state area, preferably with NJDOT projects.
      • B.S. Degree min. in Civil Engineering.
      • NHI bridge inspection training course No. 130055 & experience with Bentley’s LARS Load Rating & CombIS programs is a plus.
      • This position is full-time.
    • Responsibilities:
      • This position will require field work, the ability to multitask & work within deadlines.
      • This position is for our Princeton, NJ location.
  • CADD Manager
    • Qualifications:
      • Minimum with ten years of experience in MicroStation and AutoCAD, preferably with bridge design and roadway design experience, for transportation agencies in the region such as NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, etc.
      • This position is full-time.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Manage the CAD Department of a civil engineering company.
      • Coordinate between the Engineering Managers and CAD Technicians for the successful drafting of the design projects.
      • Develop, implement and monitor CAD design standards and procedures to meet customer needs.
      • Provide guidance and direction to the CAD team to ensure operational and technical excellence.
      • Work with Engineering Leads regarding technical, training, and other CAD system issues.
      • Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies.
      • Maintain documentation records of generated design deliverables.
      • Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.

  • Structural Engineer
    • Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or,
      • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or,
      • Bachelor's degree in Bridge and Tunnel Engineering,
    • Responsibilities:
      • Perform nonlinear analysis for an existing suspension bridge
      • Develop a 3D finite element model for an existing long-span suspension bridge based on the design drawings;
      • Perform influence line analysis based on the 3D finite element model;
      • Writing program code to obtain the global live load pattern for each structural member that that causes the worst load effect on each member;
      • Identify the maximum structural response for different live load cases.
      • Perform load rating for different types of bridges under the guidance of AASHTO LRFD, AASHTO MBE, and other bridge load rating manuals.
      • Calculate the capacity of stiffening truss members and gusset plate of an existing bridge based on AASHTO LRFD and AASHTO MBE;
      • Perform load rating for each component based on AASHTO MBE and other bridge load rating manuals.
      • Perform structural design for RC structures as per AASHTO, ACI, and etc.
      • Calculate the required dimensions and reinforcement for different RC culvert projects based on structural analysis.
      • Estimate the quantity and cost of each working item for a railway bridge project based on specification.
      • Perform Cost Estimation and perform structural design for RC substructures as per AASHTO, ACI, and etc.
      • Calculate the required reinforcement of bridge footing and retaining wall.
      • Examine stability of structure against the design specification
      • Perform structural stability analysis of an existing bridge pier suffering extensive corrosion.
  • Senior Traffic Engineer
    • Qualifications:
      • Minimum 10 years experience in Traffic Analysis and Traffic Signal Design and familiarity with NJDOT, NYCDOT, and PAYNYNJ standards.
      • Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) is required
      • PE license in the state of NJ or NY is required or able to obtain within 12 months
      • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering is required

  • Assistant Manager, Construction Services
    •  Qualifications:
      • A full or possibly a part time position
      • Minimum 15 years of experience in Construction Engineering Services
      • A PE License and Primavera Scheduling experience are a plus.
      • Effective oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
      • An established Transportation related client base in NJ and / or NY is highly desirable.
    • General Responsibilities:
      • Project Management duties on Construction Inspection / Management projects, proposal preparation for various agencies in NJ and NY.
    • Location:
      • This position is for our Hackensack, NJ or NYC locations.
  • Resident Engineer
    • Qualifications:
      • With experience of projects on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.
      • P.E. in N.J. or a NICET IV and at least 12 years’ experience in the highway and bridge construction inspection field.
      • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer on highway and bridge projects with at least 2 of those years as a Resident Engineer on the New Jersey Turnpike or the Garden State Parkway.
      • Additional concrete, asphalt, and traffic control certifications are a plus.
    • General Responsibilities:
      • Resident Engineering / Employee Supervision / Construction Engineering
    • Location:
      • This position is for our one of our NJ locations.
  • Construction Office Engineers
    • Qualifications:
      • NICET II or III with at least 6 years of highway and bridge construction inspection and office engineering experience. Experience with NJDOT Site Manager or NYSDOT Site Manager and MURK a plus.
      • Concrete, asphalt, and traffic control, and painting certifications are also a plus.
    • General Responsibilities:
      • Construction Administration / Engineering / Project Controls

  • Construction Inspectors
    • Qualifications:
      • Experienced in highway or bridge construction with a NICET 2, 3, 4 or NICET equivalent experience.
      • Concrete, asphalt, and traffic control, and painting certifications are also a plus.
    • General Responsibilities:
      • Construction Inspection / Project Reporting / Material Testing Oversight
    • Location:
      • These positions are for either our NJ or NYC locations.
  • Special Inspectors
    • Qualifications:
      • Experienced Special Inspectors certified by ICC, NACE, ACI, SSPC, AWS in the following areas:
        • Concrete Construction, Structural Masonry, Soils, Asphalt, Spray-Applied Fireproofing, Structural Steel and Bolting, Welding, Cleaning and Coating of Structural Steel
      • Additional varied construction inspection experience in highways, bridges, utilities, and buildings, a BSCE, NICET and OSHA certifications are a plus.
