Project Role and Scope of Work

IH served as a subconsultant to Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP) on this project. The overall scope of work included the inspection of 194 routine bridges in Districts 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 located between New Jersey Turnpike MP 0.0 and MP 67.0 including the Pearl Harbor Memorial Turnpike Extension, MP 105.0 and MP 118.0 along the Turnpike Easterly Alignment and between MP N0.0 and MP N8.0 on the Newark Bay Hudson County Extension.

The scope also included SI&A sheet updates, New Jersey Turnpike Authority BMS inspections and data collection, collection of GIS data for structures within the scope of this assignment, on-call miscellaneous assignments, submittal of five inspection reports and submittal of Risk Carrier Summary Reports.

IH’s scope of work included field inspection, preparation of priority repair documents, SI&A sheets, BMS forms and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) for 14 bridges in District 1 and 14 bridges in District 3. In addition, IH assisted with the preparation of the annual district inspection report.
