Project Role and Scope of Work

IH served a subconsultant to Churchill Engineers on this project. The overall scope of work involved the inspection of 67 non-NBIS culverts and 96 sign structures on the Garden State Parkway between MP 0 and 171.

IH's scope of work involved managing the field inspections for 67 culverts, including the preparation of priority repair documents and preliminary and final annual district reports utilizing InspectTech. Some of the culverts required underwater and scour critical bridge inspection. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) was provided for several of the culverts.

Types of culverts included:  reinforced concrete box culvert, reinforced concrete pipe, corrugated metal pipe, asphalt coated corrugated metal pipe and reinforced concrete arch. IH also dedicated an experienced Team Member to provide field inspection and report preparation assistance for sign structures on an as-needed basis.
