Project Role and Scope of Work

IH served as the prime consultant for this project. The scope of work included managing the NBIS field inspections, rating calculations, priority repair letters, report preparation, and SI&A/NBE form coding with CombIS program updates in accordance with NBIS and NJDOT standards. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) and inspection access equipment was also required for several of these locations.

 Some of the bridges required fracture critical member and fatigue prone detail inspection, underwater and scour critical inspection. Structure types include rolled steel girders, welded plate girders, pre-stressed concrete girders and box beams and reinforced concrete culvert and frame bridges.
