Project Role and Scope of Work

IH’s scope of services included a feasibility study, specifications and design for the addition and renovation to these two schools situated on a shared property.

Structural Engineering

IH's structural engineering scope included assessment of the existing structural condition, and preparation of detailed recommendations with associated cost estimates for repair and rehabilitation of the noted structural defects, assessment of the development constraints, geotechnical requirements and development of at least three optimum locations for the proposed addition. IH provided structural engineering design services during the design phase.

Civil / Highway Engineering

IH's civil engineering scope included assessment of the existing site layout and access as well as a Traffic Impact Study assessing circulation, traffic capacity, and parking capacity and comparing existing conditions versus proposed conditions. In addition, IH prepared a Utility Investigation Report identifying the utility inventory, provided utility design services and coordination during the design, and procured all required permits.
