Project Role and Scope of Work

IH provided Construction Management services for this bridge project as part of our ongoing Construction Management Services on an As-Needed Basis Contract with the Port Authority of NY and NJ.

This Task Order provided for rehabilitation work for the existing movable railroad bridge over the Hackensack River. The improvements included tie removal and replacement, disposal of the existing ties, track replacement, and miscellaneous structural repairs. As part of this work, outages were required and coordinated and PATH flagmen were utilized on-site. Also included in this work was constant communication between the field and PATH Control in addition to Coast Guard coordination.
